This, I think, is the one of the most informative presentations on Iraq's oil and the U.S. occupation.
There are many ways of presenting the sorry truth; might as well get it with tears of laughter than tears of sorrow.
Let me know what you think of it?

Bremner is a fantastic impersonator (if you've ever seen the talk show host Parkinson, you'll know what I mean).
Good one SC, you're almost as cynical as my name !!!

Sorry for the tangent:
I have been foolishly attempting to get a handle on the corporate tax thing.
Many argue that the tax is just passed on to the consumer.
One of the things I have been looking at is the Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund (OSLTF).
During the course of its history the 5cents a barrel has not been consistently paid by the industry.
I do not remember catching a break during those times.
The deal is that ships operating in our coastal waters must carry a certificate of liability.
For instance a single hull tanker needs around $22 million coverage. This is the top coverage and they can "self insure" meaning that a group can pool resources into a single interest forming account.
They are only liable for damages up to the limit of there liability.
We foot the rest.
Exxon Valdez Oil Spill cost Billions!
The fund is rapidly diminishing.

The more I read the more I learn about how much of our common resources are used by corporations. What percent of taxpayer infrastructure is going to benefit corporate entities? Do they not own property that is protected, Vehicles that wear down our roads?
Are they not tapped into the electric, water, sewage, communications grid?
Are they not parties of litigation?
And then there is the whole national "Interest" thing!

Amazing1: Have to agree with you there. Bush a genius that is what they said about Hitler as well. There is a fine line between genius and madness. Bush crossed that line. LOL

Bush needs to be on a sinking cruise ship, and never to rise to the surface-my opinion
