Clinton, Obama Spar Over Dental Plans

Humor – With both candidates in agreement on a broad range of issues, the two rivals appear to be hoping that late-deciding voters will support the candidate who offers the best dental.

I thought "Walker" the Texas Ranger guy was a Huckabee supporter?

You must mean Walker Husseintexasranger. Yes, he does support Mike Husseinhuckabee, but he sees which way the wind is blowing.

We got a NEW health care crisis to worry about!!!

The implant industry is swelling, as is the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction...BUT this coincides with an increase of patients with Alzheimers...Soon the crisis will hit, leaving us with thousands of patients with perky breasts and major erections...and absolutely no clue what to do with them...

At least the old men won't be rolling out of bed!

But we won't know why we're there in the first place. ooops, nothing new there...

Why is erectile dysfunction of older men an issue? The so called health conscious people like everything natural except when it comes to sex. If it doesn't work there is a natural reason for it. Age gracefully.

ever heard of grace under pressure?!?!?

I bet you that will get Obama the final push!

Funny how neither of them is speaking about implants!

The cosmetic, prosthetic and dental implants have become a necessity of the aging population with sags, flats and gaps!

This will be a one trillion dollar issue that must be "raised" and "firmly implanted" in this campaign!

LOL!

But I was still able to put my 2 cents in. Check it out.

Elsewhere president Bush showed his true nature, By stating just because you don't get the most votes doesn't mean your not still the president. Hahahahahaha . I'll bet he flashed his pearly whites at that one.

Yeah I'm all for a good dental plan. Got my choppers in the holding tank. LOL

Going to need a relign here soon. And how about some decent Fixodent and things like that on our prescription plans. hahahahaha

Good one ind06

Dental plans of all things. This primary stuff is interesting. But sometimes I wonder that with all the emphasis placed on them, the major parties end up after the primaries with the best campaigner and not necessarily the person who would be the best president. I believe that these require two different skill sets. The old smoke-filled rooms weren't all bad. And just the assertion that "it's more democratic" does not necessarily make the result better for country.

So unfunny and off-topic...but good point anyway! :-p

I see a lot of you making jokes and taking this very important subject lightly but I am here to tell you that this can be very serious. Poor dental health can be a genetic issue and cause stroke, heart attacks or other very serious health issues. It is very expensive to fix sometimes and insurance hardly covers any of it. At least that is my case and others I know. These are not due to lack of proper hygiene and often times can only be fixed and prevented with surgery. My bill for one part of the care I need is $6000. Insurance covers $300 of that. I consider this a major problem and am glad that someone that may be able to help a little bit is paying attention. Its not a laughing matter.

So, you didn't notice the satire tag?? Sad.

avatar
Reply

Hmmmmm. Possibly its sadder that you don't have the faintest inkling that this is a real issue. Satire doesn't change the fact that it is an important issue to some of us.Satire often times is part of the problem.

If Hillary gets elected, watch out! You won't get a chance to flash your new dentures before the "dental tax" kicks in. Then you will need something better than Fixodent, otherwise they will REPO your prostheses!
