Wendt then turned his winning hammer technique on a game of poker he was playing with his brother-in-law with less successful results.

I solved mine by throwing it up against the wall. I liked that approach because I didn't have to get out of my LA-Z-BOY recliner and miss one minute of Bay Watch. Why do they call them LA-Z-BOYs....seems like a dumb name to me!

There was a drive to open a satelite company to LA-Z-BOY, DO-Z-BOY.

Uncle Dave,

Hey Shad, I added mine's to my "Legos" as roof tiles.

Did one hit do it or did he have to hit it over and over again?

avatar
Reply

...depends; a grand slam would remove most of the tiles, if not all of 'em...one cube lost none for six base hits and a double...then exploded on a triple...

I knew someday someone would be able to get that silly thing! LOL

I wish I'd thought of that.

The NYT crossword puzzle I can solve simply by eliminating the plebian requirement that all the answers be words.

Rubik's cube was invented in the Spring of '74...You mean to tell me that it took Nelson Wendt 34 years to solve that????

He must've been quite a patient guy, or more likely.

He must've had NO life!

:o/

I had a friend who could solve this thing in just minutes. He flipped out and did something really stupid later on.

He hit himself over the head with a hammer?

avatar
Reply

No, he took a knife to his ex and the female cop who tried to stop him.

Yikes!!!

He told me that he liked spending hours in his room speaking in the tongues of angels. I'm wondering if they weren't the FALLEN kind, if you know what I mean?

Solved it or broke it ? lol

You know the old saying, if it doesn't fit you need a bigger hammer. :)

A hammer, now i know how to fix that sucker!

I once solved it in 1 minute... I used a sledgehammer though.

I offered to use 'Arm and Hammer' anesthetic on one bloke getting on my last nerve...he said "I didn't know they made anesthetic"...

I replied "My arm, my hammer; your skull..."

He declined...
