"Avoiding dying alone at all costs is no longer the primary goal for many of today's women," Detweiller said. "Every year, millions of women find they can be just as unappreciated at work as they can doting on loutish inattentive boyfriends."

Of course, the "golden ticket" for many of today's under-employed women is an affair with an unappreciative boss thus allowing them to be under-valued professionally and personally at the same time. :)

Well, they always say they want to be equal. LOL

No disrespect ladies. But men have known for a long time that work outside the home sucks and work inside the home sucks.

I guess this really means that: "Men are from Mars"

....and women wished they'd stay there...

When people can't escape into any area of their lives, there is hope. The possiblity of change becomes imperative. Often they may choose personal evaluation and emotional growth ... or suicide.

I can totally understand why these women are choosing disappointing careers instead of "emotionally unfulfilling relationships." Constantly catering to a mans ego is draining mentally, physically and emotionally. When you first meet a man he seems capable of doing all sorts of things for himself. Then he moves in and he forgets how to work the washer and dryer, he forgets how to turn on the stove, he suddenly forgets simple things like where he left his socks or his wallet and expects the woman to solve all of these problems. And don't even bother to try to have a conversation with them while the big game (or any game) is on TV. It takes most women 20 years to retrain their men to do even the simplest things. At least you can leave the disappointing career after a 12 hour shift but the man? Ugh. Girls, I implore you to be wise a keep a few around for sex. Send them home when you're done with them and life will be a happy adventure!

You said it bee. Don't forget hunting/fishing seasons either, computer games that pick up right where you logged off, going to games.

I implore women to keep women's night. We need our sanity.

The reason beyond is that women nowadays are more loved if they are into deadend jobs... lol
